Dr. Terri Cooper is an internationally recognized global life science and healthcare expert. A leader in operational and cultural exchange with vast experience in end-to-end product development and commercialization, Dr. Cooper is a retired Principal of Deloitte’s US consulting practice. With 35-years of experience, Dr. Cooper led Deloitte’s global healthcare sector and built their life sciences R&D practice and external DEI practice. 

Dr. Cooper is a sought-after speaker and has authored numerous LSHC industry and DEI publications. 

As a recognized life sciences-healthcare expert, Terri has worked across sectors globally in both public and private domains. Her experience spans complex industry, business, technology, DEI, brand-building, and regulatory imperatives. She has successfully built business units from scratch, has led global organizational and financial restructures driving significant performance improvement, and has piloted innovation and M&A initiatives that have resulted in growth opportunities and competitive differentiation. Terri is known for building strong, cohesive teams, establishing professional development and inclusion as core leadership capabilities, and has a track record of advancing leaders at all levels.   

Terri’s financial expertise includes leading several practices and business units at Deloitte, IBM, PwC Consulting, and Janssen-Cilag with oversight, risk assessment and mitigation, P&L, and strategic and capital investment responsibilities. Additionally, she has led the evaluation of and presented to the Deloitte Board of Directors on Partners/Managing Directors earnings, annual rewards, and earnings results to ensure gender and racial parity and incorporated tenure, time in role, and overall contributions to address executive compensation more fairly.
